    Upper Falls - Gooseberry State Park

    Gooseberry Falls, located in Minnesota's most popular state park, features a series of dramatic cascading waterfalls (Upper, Middle, Lower, and Fifth Falls) on the Gooseberry River as it drops toward Lake Superior. The falls are known for their accessibility, with paved trails leading from a modern visitor center to basalt rock formations and scenic, swimmable pools.   Upper Falls at Gooseberry Falls State Park is a scenic, easily accessible waterfall where the Gooseberry River drops over volcanic rock into a pool below 

    Middle Falls - Gooseberry State Park

    Considered the most spectacular of the trio, the Middle Falls features a large, expansive drop where the Gooseberry River divides around a central point. It is known for its dramatic, wide cascade over layers of ancient volcanic basalt 

    Lower Falls - Gooseberry State Park

    Just downstream from the Middle Falls, the Lower Falls offers a more intimate, tiered waterfall experience. It’s a great spot to see the river, surrounded by trees, flowing towards Lake Superior

    Beaver Falls 1 - State Wayside

    A roadside waterfall along Highway 61 in Beaver Bay that drops in multiple tiers over a 300-foot section before entering Lake Superior. It is highly accessible and often viewed from a pedestrian bridge or the wayside rest

    Two Step Falls - Tettegouche State Park

    Two Step Falls in Tettegouche State Park is a scenic, 30-foot, two-tiered waterfall on the Baptism River, featuring a pair of roughly 15-foot drops that flow into a large, tranquil pool. Located a short 0.5-mile hike downstream from the popular High Falls, it is often visited as part of a 1.5- to 3-mile loop featuring a steep 175-stair descent 

    High Falls - Tettegouche State Park

    High Falls in Tettegouche State Park is a spectacular 63-to-100-foot waterfall on the Baptism River, renowned as the highest waterfall located entirely within Minnesota. The falls feature a dramatic, powerful drop through a rocky gorge, viewed from a suspension bridge or designated, rugged, and sometimes steep hiking trails 

    Cascade Falls - Tettegouche State Park

    Cascade Falls is the waterfall closest to the mouth of the Baptism river.  It is a scenic, 12-foot, sloping waterfall on the Baptism River, offering a more intimate experience than the park's larger falls. It is generally reached via a 1.6 to 1.8-mile round-trip hiking trail, featuring rocky terrain, narrow paths, and a 100-foot elevation gain   

    Illgen Falls - Tettegouche State Park

    Illgen Falls is a scenic 40-foot waterfall in Tettegouche State Park on the Baptism River, known as a hidden gem featuring a popular swimming hole and a 0.2-mile, easy-to-access trail. It flows over a rocky ledge, often splitting into a wide sheet in spring or falling in a concentrated stream, providing unique top-down views of the river 

    Caribou River Falls

    Caribou Falls is a picturesque, 35-to-40-foot waterfall on Minnesota's North Shore, located along the Caribou River between Little Marais and Schroeder. Accessible via a roughly 1-mile round-trip hiking trail from a Highway 61 wayside rest, it is known for its stunning, cedar-framed views, dramatic basalt gorge, and a steep,150+ step stairway leading to the base

    Cross River - Schroeder State Wayside

    Cross River Falls in Schroeder, MN, is a scenic, easily accessible roadside waterfall located directly off Highway 61, featuring cascading waters that flow under a highway bridge toward Lake Superior. It is a popular, quick stop with a wayside rest, viewing bridge, and stairs leading to lower viewing 

    The Cascades 1 - Cascade River State Park

    The Cascades in Cascade River State Park on Minnesota's North Shore are a spectacular series of small, rapid waterfalls, and rushing rapids created as the Cascade River drops 900 feet over its final three miles into Lake Superior. The area features a 0.5-mile loop trail with dramatic gorge views and a log bridge

    The Cascades 2 - Cascade River State Park

    The Cascades Last Drop - Cascade River State Park

     The lowest and largest fall in Cascade River State Park, often considered the "official" Cascade Falls, is located near the Lake Superior shore and is best viewed from the west side of the river 

    Devils Kettle - Judge Magney State Park

     Devil's Kettle in Judge C.R. Magney State Park is a mysterious, split waterfall on the Brule River. One side drops 50 feet into a typical pool, while the other vanishes into a deep pothole, creating a geological puzzle where water seemingly disappears underground   

    Upper Falls - Judge Magney State Park

    Upper Falls in Judge C.R. Magney State Park is a scenic 25-foot waterfall on the Brule River, located just downstream from the famous Devil's Kettle geological mystery. The falls are part of a rugged 2-mile round-trip hike featuring a rocky gorge, whitewater rapids, and a long set of stairs 

    High Falls - Grand Portage State Park

    High Falls of the Pigeon River is the tallest waterfall in Minnesota, featuring a stunning 120-foot (36.5 m) drop directly on the US/Canadian border within Grand Portage State Park. Accessible via a 1-mile round-trip paved trail, the site offers accessible viewing decks to experience the roaring falls, a scenic river gorge, and a majestic boreal forest setting.
